Becoming a Host Family

Is a great way to form worldwide friendships and offer help to International students and visitors.

The following is for you and your family to consider before you apply to Become A Host family with VHA:

1. You enjoy meeting and helping visitors.

2. You could easily welcome guests, as friends, into your home and introduce them to your lifestyle and culture.

3. You have a guest room which is private, clean and comfortable and meets VHA's minimum standards.

4. All members of your home think this is a good idea.

5. You should be able to meet guests when they arrive and show them around your neighbourhood and to get to the school or place of work, shopping, attractions and use public transit system.
